Hello, this is Alarmy team.
Today I'm here to let you know a precaution about using Alarmy.
Please check this out as you may face an issue!
👉 For those who...
- use Samsung device
- with Android OS version 10
- and using Photo mission
👉 What is the possible issue?
1. If you set Photo mission on Android OS 10,
2. then your device is updated to OS 11,
→ You cannot properly dismiss Photo mission. (The dismiss screen wouldn't appear properly.)
From what we checked with dev team, the recent OS update included some changes in the permissions related to Photo mission. Here, there is an issue of not being able to retrieve the previous data.
Unfortunately, as the change is controlled by the OS, there's no technical way for Alarmy to prevent it.
👉 What should I do?
Fortunately, you can prevent the issue with a simple action.
→ After your device is updated to OS 11, please re-register the photo for your Photo mission.
📩 In case there's any issue after following this guide, please let us know via "Send Feedback" in Alarmy.
There are some users who already went through this issue. We tried to figure out a solution as soon as we received reports on it, but we're so sorry we cannot solve it on our end. Hope you understand.
All the teams are putting their heads together to solve technical issues as much as we can. We will always to our best to help you use Alarmy without any issues.
See you next time, hopefully with a better news. Take care!
