Hi, Larmys!
This time, I came here to let you know about the issue of unlocking the lock screen first before dismissing the alarm, which occurs more frequently in Android 12 than in the previous version.
😲 Why do I see the lock screen before the alarm screen appears?
As the OS version goes up, the security policy is getting stronger.
As a result, in some cases, even though you've already granted the "Appear on top" permission on Alarmy, the alarm screen is covered by the lock screen. (The title of the permission might be different by the manufacturers.)
🙅🔓 You don't have to unlock the lock screen!
On the lock screen, you may have seen a screen where you have to enter a password or pattern depending on the setting.
At this time, you can see the alarm screen that is hidden behind the lock screen by clicking the Back button on the left side of the bottom of the screen without having to unlock it.
🙀 Please let me know if the alarm screen doesn't appear even if you press the Back button
Please let us know immediately if the alarm screen does not appear even though you pressed the Back button while the lock screen is on.
If you leave your inquiry through [Settings tab > Send Feedback], we'll quickly check and find out about the problem.
🕵 We're trying to figure out a way to solve this problem
Although this is an issue caused by OS security policy, we are investigating whether there is any way to display Alarmy at the top of the screen when the alarm goes off as before.
We are looking closely at the feedback from Larmys, who've experienced this issue, but we have yet to find a clear clue as to why this phenomenon occurs only to certain Larmys.
Furthermore, as there are some improvements that we put on a higher priority (improvements that make the alarm goes off stably!), it may take a while to solve this problem. We'd highly appreciate it if you kindly understand that.
