*[No Ring] How to Fix Alarm Issues on Realme Phones

If your alarm isn’t ringing, your Realme phone may be limiting Alarmy’s ability to run properly in the background. To ensure your alarms ring as expected, please follow the steps below to adjust the necessary permissions.

📌 The setting names may differ depending on your device model and OS version, so look for similar options! On some devices, certain permissions may not be available — if that’s the case, simply proceed to the next setting.

 

 

⏰ Please Enable These Permissions

 

1) Exclude Alarmy from battery optimization

  • Why this matters:
    • If Alarmy is battery-restricted, your phone may close the app in the background — which prevents alarms from going off.

  • How to enable it:

    • Settings > Apps > App Management > Alarmy > Battery usage > Allow background activity

2) Do not disturb

  • Why this matters:

    • This permission allows Alarmy to display the alarm dismiss screen even when you’re using other apps.

  • How to enable it:

    • Settings > Sounds & vibrations > Do Not Disturb > [Exceptions] Apps > Alarmy on

3) Lock screen notifications

  • Why this matters:

    • If lock screen notifications are turned off, you may not see or hear the alarm while the screen is locked.

  • How to enable it:

    • Settings > Notifications & status bar > Lock screen > Alarmy on

4) Display over other apps

  • Why this matters:
    • This allows the alarm dismiss screen to appear even when you’re using another app or the phone is locked.
  • How to enable it:
    • Settings > Apps > App Management > Alarmy > Display over other apps on
