*[Sound] How do I make Alarmy ring in Do Not Disturb mode?

⏰ In A Nutshell

There are two ways - you can do both or choose one of them, according to your preference.

a. Find "Do not disturb access" menu in your device settings and allow Alarmy.

b. Allow alarm and media sound as exception so that Alarmy can make sound.

Here are the detailed setting menu name according to the manufacturer. 

As mentioned above, if there are two ways introduced, you can choose either one of them or set both to make sure.

  • Samsung
    1. Do not disturb permission > Allow "Alarmy" app. 
    2. Do not disturb > Allow exceptions > Enable "Alarms" & "Media".
  • Google
    1. Do not disturb access > Allow "Alarmy" app.
    2. Do not disturb > Alarms & other interruptions > Enable "Alarms" & "Media".
  • Xiaomi & Huawei
    • Do not disturb access > Allow "Alarmy" app.
  • Oneplus
    1. Do not disturb access > Allow "Alarmy" app.
    2. Do not disturb > Exceptions: Other sounds > Enable "Alarms" & "Media".
  • Oppo
    • Silence media when Do not disturb is on > Disable this option.
