If your alarm isn’t ringing, your Xiaomi phone may be restricting Alarmy from running in the background. Please follow the steps below to ensure your alarms ring properly.
⏰ Please Enable These Permissions
- Auto Start
- This lets Alarmy restart automatically if it gets closed in the background. Without it, your alarm might not ring at all.

- Display over other apps
- This ensures the alarm screen pops up when it’s time to wake up. Without it, you might only get a silent push notification instead of a loud alarm.
- Depending on your Xiaomi model and OS version, look for similar options like:
- Display pop-up windows
- Display pop-up windows while running in the background
- Show on lock screen
- Without this, Alarmy can’t display alarms when your phone is locked, which could cause your alarm to stay silent.
